Hello

My name is Mariah Johnston, I'm a journalist and photographer.

I am on my way to being a 2025 graduate from Linfield University, with a degree in journalism and media studies and a minor in anthropology. My time at Linfield has taught me that the best experience is hands-on. During my time in undergrad, I interned for the Willamette Valley Visitors Association, worked in the Office of Strategic Communications, served as the managing editor of The Linfield Review, completed the Charles Snowden Excellence in Journalism internship through the University of Oregon and freelanced to multiple publications.
